    Car had faults that weren't picked up on mot, had it inspected by vosa to find 13 advisory items, after their mot showed no advisory items! Car also developed major engine fault within a week, dealer refused to take car back under consumer rights act, reluctantly agreed to repair as we need a car, but still waiting for them to return our car over 5 weeks later.

    We sincerely apologise about how you feel regarding this matter, however would like to confirm a few things. Firstly you purchased a vehicle with almost two hundred thousand miles on the clock. We sent it to a 3rd party MOT station, who tested the vehicle. You questioned the credibility of the MOT as you felt there was many items on the car that shouldnt pass an MOT. We asked you to arrange an inspection with the DVSA to support your claim. The DVSA only found a loose headlight. The advisories were at the testers discretion, however we have had all these rectified for you, not reluctantly, but in fact as our offer to you. To add, the 'major' engine fault was indeed just low diesel additive which you are meant to top up as part of your maintenance of this type of car expected at this mileage. We did this at no cost to yourself as well. As a family run business, our main objective is customer satisfaction. We hope we have shown this with our actions regarding this matter.
